Nice to see small boards with DC-in as the alternative power source rather than traditional PSU which is bulky and has a fan in it. They ought to make one without the SIM slot. It is pretty useless except for POS applications. Typically POS apps will use a USB modem anyways.
If this kind of board was cheap millions would buy it for their home PCs : 67% of the world's PC users are not into heavy gaming. Schools, offices, colleges etc. would love this kind of fanless /CPU soldered designs as there much less chance of failure. Manufacturers should include good Linux, XP etc. drivers though to keep it cheap for the end user.
