    I actually just got a Pebble, it really shows just how simple it needs to be in order to work well, I knew something like the Galaxy Gear wouldn't work, it's just overkill, all you really need is simple display tech that works in the sun, color isn't even needed, and a Bluetooth connection and an open platform so we can have cool apps.
    Only thing I wish was that I wouldn't have to shake it around like I'm having a seizure, in order to get it to light up.

    Pressing any button lights up the watch and the back button doesn't do anything while you're on the watchface. If the motion sensor isn't working, you can always just use the back button.

    Great...tackiness just tackier. I'd consider it for a 5 year old girl, but not for $150.

    Pebble is indeed a nice smartwatches, one of the top rated but there are other high rated smartwatches in the market (see http://www.topreport.org/wearable/ for example...)
