By the looks of it yes. In addition, you can't feasibly have dual microSD on phones at this point in time, since SoCs only have two flash controllers. One goes to the eMMC (though it could certainly be bigger than 16GB) and the other to the microSD slot.
Sony claims specs are: "2.3 GHz Qualcomm APQ8074+MSM8974AB" Why would they put MSM8974AB as well in wifi and LTE version? Maybe wifi version only has APQ8074 without LTE support and MSM8974AB is present only in LTE version?

Yes, sure, Qualcomm blog, great source of info - they simply said what Sony said. They state the same thing about Galaxy S5 http://www.qualcomm.com/snapdragon/blog/2014/02/24... But Galaxy S5 really has 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801. Xperia Z2 has MSM8974AB (Snapdragon 800), Galaxy S5 - MSM8974AC (Snapdragon 801).
Qualcomm Blog is the best source of info, because it comes from Qualcomm directly. So yes, what Qualcomm says would be more reliable than even Sony and notebookcheck.

The Z2 now uses IPS + Triluminos instead of the TFT + Triluminos the Z1 offered, check out Erica Griffin's video on the phone in youtube and supercurio's graphs on G+, this is a completely new panel and preliminary results show some really nice things going on in there.
IMHO It has easily beaten the SGS5 in most aspects.
