    You mention G-sync in laptops...what about AMD's suggestion that it's already there and their "Freesync" solution is enough to get that going on those devices.

    According to AMD, their FreeSync demo and Nvidia's answer ( http://techreport.com/news/25878/nvidia-responds-t... ), there is no need for Gsync and its solution-specific hardware in notebook. Most panels are directly driven by LVDS and other embedded technology that already include an arbitrary refresh line.

    G-Sync is about doing the same over a standard port.
