    This is embarrassing for any major manufacturer, despite Huawei's track record of utter disregard for copyright.

    It's like they didn't even try disambiguating that fact that they stole the icon design and UI directly from Apple.

    Xaueious has a point
    the settings menu is a direct copy/paste from iOS
    the logo design is also mimicing iOS

    now, this isn't necessary a bad thing, much as there are Linux distro's which Windows design and icon layout;
    will certainly help transition current iOS users to a cheaper, faster phone, like the Huawei line-up; a colleague bought a quad core Huawei from alieexpress.com for $300, as speedy as a Samsung S3

    Тhe big news is that progress in baseband chips. Now the Chinese can compete in this area all with the exception of Qualcomm.
