I'm still waiting something with straight-up color-configurable backlighting like Alienware laptop keyboards.
I'm still waiting for a keyboard with an curved, split key layout like the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 with mechanical switches and an affordable price. No backlighting required, not sure if all types of MX switches are needed. Could be mail order only, although ability to see and touch it in a store would be great.
The hdmi cables look just like the ones I got from monprice. They're nice. I ended up replacing all my bulky ones with these. These are also the only ones that fit on my SG08. The hdmi port on my pc is partially blocked by the case... I don't know why they put in that lip...
That part of the article piqued my interest! So, I went to NewEgg, and lo and behold, they had them in stock. Not only did they have them in stock, but the 15 foot cable is on sale for $16.99 (at time of writing)!
That's a fantastic deal! I ended up ordering a few cables to "retrofit" my living room. I already have a white variant of the Monoprice RedMere cable, so I'll compare them.
I am a big NewEgg fan, and so obviously I have bought some Rosewill things in the past few years. I won't lie, I think some of their stuff is just crap and fail rather quickly after their first use, and many of the reviews on NewEgg will agree. But I think they are going into the right direction with their "budget" cases (so many features with a nice price) and their Mech Keyboards are getting better and better. I already have a Corsair K90, so I won't need one of these, but still, good stuff from Rosewill. I do find that HDMI cable intriguing and will get a few to test them out. Sometimes cheap does not mean crap...
