I wish they launch the VX in India. We need to have a Qualcomm S4 phone in India.

Do you think LG/Google may sell the rumored Nexus 4 in India? Samsung didn't sell their GNexus here and I'm afraid LG may follow the same path.

That explains the $100 off for the One X right now

HTC is dropping the ball lately. Tegra 3? Not even Tegra 3+? And S4 Plus when it should be S4 Pro?

Pretty sure the One VX is meant to be an intermediate level phone, not top-of-the-line. That would explain their use of the S4 Plus, along with the mere 8GB of NAND, poorer cameras, smaller and lower resolution screen, and smaller battery.

Also, as far as I know, there aren't any phones that use the S4 Pro, presumably because it's not ready?

Agreed. Why would anyone possibly want a Tegra over a Krait right now? That seems like a pretty significant regression.

This seems like an incremental upgrade over the HTC Vivid.

I understand that this is a midrange targetted phone, but HTC really needs to find a more compelling reason to go with this over a Vivid except Sense 4. The upgrade to JB will be nice, but I fail to see how most consumers will prefer a more expensive phone with no outward improvements over a free (On AT&T at least) phone with all the same check boxes filled out on the spec sheet.

The One X+ is an incremental upgrade for the One X, not the Vivid. It's not a mid-range phone. It's a flagship phone. Larger screen, faster processor and all the features available today. Now, the One VX would be similar to the Vivid, just a year older and slightly better specs and updated.

I was talking about the VX. Why would you think I was referring to the One X?

I am so glade they have finally listened to people requesting a larger battery. We don't want the a super slim phone if we have to find a way to charge it before the day is over. +1 for HTC in my respectometer. However the new Motorola / Google phones (Razr HD and M) look very nice they are the phones I am considering.
