I find this part to be pretty interesting.. "Most devices launched in 2011 will be upgraded to Jelly Bean soon. Owners who don't get a Jelly Bean upgrade will be given a $100 discount on an upgrade to any of the phones announced today."
Yeah, forget the One X & SGS3 wannabes, we need more info on that promo!
Though the new MAXX will probably boast some ridiculous battery life numbers between S4 and the huge battery... Moto really needs to get similar models out for the other three US carriers, playing footsie with Verizon and releasing flagship devices models months after HTC & Samsung isn't gonna get them anywhere.
Yeah! The Atrix HD I'm getting... makes my purchase even easier. (I told you guys Google would do this)
So it seems that Motorola (I keep TYPING in MC from the old days; MC68000) is going to take care of those from last year IF they are not able to get 4.1 working right.
This is why in reviews (including here) that they say the AtrixHD is ICS but with some JB-like features.
It seems that Google is trying to take a bit of thunder out of Nokia's 820/920 release party (which I gather empties out for the Google one)... I don't think they did.
The future MC phones will need to step up the game on camera optics and processing and a bit more modernizing. I think the Atrix HD would better without the pattern background on the back... does the "kevlar" pad on the back really help? Also, perhaps some cool colors besides Black or White - like Nokia, Apple.... I don't think Apple can patent the color red.... or can they?

I seem to recall the iPhone 4S having both a decent gamut and fairly accurate colors. Is "85% more color saturation" even a good thing here?extide - Wednesday, September 5, 2012 - link

good call on the 100$ rebate for owners of non-jelly-bean devices. Would like to see more of this.
