Does the ASUS Tablet 600 allow use of external memory via SD slot or microSD slot? 32GB is not that much for someone who wishes to really use the device as a productivity device.

Wow, with the release of this tablet things are really gonna get interesting. Asus has been releasing amazing products. I don't doubt they'll soon overtake Samsung if they play their cards right.

Uh-yeah... I don't think Asus, let alone anyone else, will be overtaking Samsung anytime soon. It could be the better tablet, but Samsung is in a whole different league when it comes to manufacturing.

So far Samsung is the only manufacturer of tablets with great screens (color gamut wider than on iPad 2 on Galaxy Tab 10.1), besides Apple.

Unless they start to use quality displays (and no, I'm not talking about "retina" resolution) - no thanks.

I haven't had 2GB of RAM in a system for 10 years. Will the 810 let users upgrade the RAM?

    Even I haven't had 2GB RAM on my machine for almost 10 years . I haven't got even 1 GB !

but there has been no problem at all

Some people just like to include a lot of rubbish on their machines . 1 GB VRAM and 1 GB RAM is more than enough for any machine .

I have the Asus Transformer Prime with the keyboard dock and I think the device is near perfection.
My one wish is that it ran a windows OS.

These things are just the ticket!

Absolutely GB ! I just wish that WOA could run legacy Winodws applications, coz I think x86 based full windows 8 tablets are going to be at least 200 USD more expensive than ARM WOA tablets

Can the ASUS 810 expand to 4 GB RAM?

I run several Windows applications and need 4GB.

If not the 810, any other models that can expand?

P.S. I have and ASUS EEE 4-g, my customers want a tablet!

How is this any better than the Surface Pro?

I really like the keyboard cover for the surface, probably since I'm in the market more for a tablet than a laptop. So if it's the more laptop-like than tablet-like keyboard attachment that makes this more like what we want than the Surface, okay. But otherwise, what is it?
