There's already an I777 leak, but as always, US carriers hold the keys to releasing OS updates for their devices. It's not Samsung's fault if AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile don't push updates to their devices in a timely manner.
The official GSII ICS update has been rolled out here in the UK.
Being as you have the same international GSII you can go to the XDA developers forum and download the Samsung UK ICS update and flash your phone with that.
In the UK - Official ICS updated on the 20th on my SGS2. CNET has a way of forcing the official update, should you be impatient or have Kies problems. Did this for my wife, as she has a TMobile version and didn't want to wait. No root required for the CNET version either.
There is a leaked version of ICS for the i777 available as well as a version that is rooted (XDA). I installed both versions on my AT&T SGS2 yesterday with no issues. Currently using the rooted version. No issues so far.
I've got the upgrade yesterday on my galaxy nexus. I was quite surprised to be honest, with everything I heard about android updates, I thought it would be weeks or even months before it would show up.

Oh, awesome, thanks guys!I've been paying mere peripheral attention to such things. I'll check this out once I feel I've backed up everything that I need to.

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for my Nexus S I9023. Starting to think Google dropped the ball and simply left it in the dirt on this one.Paedric - Saturday, March 31, 2012 - link
