I'm not much of a camera buff... I use my camera phone as a tool as opposed to for any kind of artistic or capturing-the-moment type of usage scenarios. But I'm still very impressed at what they've been able to cram into that 808.
Looks like it may have a usable flash coupled with an over the top sensor that gives you enough resolution so you can zoom or crop and still get very good looking images.
Pureview 808 kinda reveals weakness on relying Microsoft to deliver OS. It limits hardware choices to those which it will support and basically guides to make phones which are all clones. Android would have been more flexible and own OS of course would have been best.
I have an N9 if this is what you are talking about. It is nice but too quirky and a pure geek phone. It is not a consumer phone at all. No apps, hard to customize unless you know Linux. Forget it. Good idea until Nokia decided to screw it over.
No Nokia, don't make the same mistake again! Create ONE impressive Windows Phone (like thought the Lumia 800 is) and try even harder to sell it (focus on the advantages of Windows Phone - which is quite good). But no, they have just started selling windows phones and already put one model after the other on the market. 800, 710, 808, 900,610, ... - SORRY NOKIA - this is already too much for any consumer!
-> Concentrate on ONE (or maybe TWO) models and sell it on your Website too! Just have a look at Apple and you know how to do it.

I really have no interest in that phone but I am fascinated with it the way excessive large breasts are fascinating though not necessarily appealing.I am curious about good those images are compared to other smartphones, including it s files sizes.
