Finally they realise it was a mistake to ditch the PC platform after poor sales from xbox360. I've waited and waited and waited, and wanting to play this for sooooo long.........that all my enthusiasm has now been gone Remedy (I can't justify buying an xbox360 just for one game). Maybe for the next Alan Wake, you will treat us PC gamers more seriously, and not as a last resort for money grabbing.
The point is, Alan Wake wasn´t a title for the X360 platform. People tend to prefer more action-based or adventure-based titles on consoles. It needed a year and a half to sell 1.4 million copies. Heavy Rain is more or less on the same wagon too, it reached 2 million units in March, and it´s gonna be two years after it´s launch next February. Psychological thrillers should jump on the PC first and then go to the consoles...
What most people seem to forget is that Allan Wake promised a LOT before going crapbox exclusive. In regards to streaming loading, physics ect.
All that changed when it when crapbox exclusive. The gamed chhanged, got dumbed down a lot...this will just be another consoleport...the Original Allan Wake (the one that had me interrested) died a long time ago.
Is there information who will do the translation from Xbox to PC version? This product could really use some PC candy with all those dark and light scenes!
So how likely is it that a few months after release this is used as an excuse why pc versions aren't worth making? A lot of people that cared got it on 360 new, or from a bargain bin/used by now.
A fun game, but nothing at all on the scale that they promised.
I'm not going to buy it twice, but it really, REALLY could have used the horsepower of a good PC.
Thanks for screwing us! I'd have bought it on PC originally if I could have. I had a preorder for this from 2008 (I even have the screenshot from Amazon).

Wonderful news! I so wanted this game when it came but couldn't justify buying an Xbox just because of it.mcnabney - Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - link
Geee thanks.Since you poked me in the eye by ignoring the PC market in 2011, I hope you won't mind if I wait until your game is $5 on Steam before I buy it.

Not only that but everything they touted to be so revolutionary about the game...isn't there.Mumrik - Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - link

Awesome game that I hope looks incredible on a gaming PC!What will be interesting is to see the price of a "new" game that is actually 2 years old...
Anyone remember how much the PC version of Halo 2 was on release? Same idea.
