I was super pumped when I clicked on this and it opened in the same tab. Excitedly I clicked on a dailytech article and goddamn, same stupid garbage where it force opens a new tab.
I wish Chrome had a way to disable this kind of bad user interface. I have a mouse with a forward and backward button for easy web navigation. Yet AnandTech purposely breaks this. It is the one thing I loath about this site. Endless dailytech tab spam.
Each day this wastes my time and causes a low level of background anger. Now it is finally erupting.

Look at the link its Steam://takesurvey/1/So you need to have steam running in the background for it to work. its not really a URL.
