This is totally OT regarding the optimus, but they are tauting QWERT, so not totally OT overall. QWERTY was designed to reduce typing speed (to prevent typer head jamming). A smiply alphabetical keyboard is faster (if you haven't typed touch on QWERTY for several years). If you want to go fast, dworak is way better (and easier to learn if you don't know qwerty).

QWERTY was not designed to reduce typing speed. It was designed to prevent jamming by preventing sequential keystrokes from happening on neighboring keys, not to slow down fast typists (who didn't even exist when QWERTY was designed since it was designed for the first typewriter and, y'know, it's hard for typists to exist before the actual typewriter).
Actually it was designed to slow down typist, if it was purposed as you say that make no sense as how many words in the dictionary are spelled with sequential alphabetical letters? I mean I like my Abcdef but I just never have to type that word and keep it behind closed doors.

You can find many other sites offering an identical history, minus the editorial on Dvorak at the end, which I happen to agree with. Bad typers type slow, good typers type fast, regardless of if they use QWERTY or Dvorak. If the market suddenly shifted and preferred Dvorak, I'd welcome it as it does offer some advantages. But, in the meantime, QWERTY is used everywhere and it's not worth the bother to try and use Dvorak in a QWERTY world.

IPS is superior in close up.qhd pentile panels are garbage.
amoled is pretty, but you can still make up the matrix which is annoying at times.
IPS...no dicernable matrix.
