I'm debating what SSD to put in my new Macbook Pro. I doubt Apple uses SATA3, afterall their model is to use cheaper parts and sell it for more than its worth.

Can't tell if you're being serious or trolling, probably trolling and don't even own a MBP.

The latest gen MBP has SATA3.

"probably trolling and don't even own a MBP" Here we go, another Apple fanboy. So you accused the dude of both trolling AND lying just because he expressed an opinion that didn’t sit well with you? For heaven’s sake grow up.

You should probably take your own advice and stop jumping to ridiculous conclusions.

I picked up a Corsair Force Series 3 90GB on black Friday for $100 (after $30 rebate), making it $1.11 per GB, and since its a name I trust, did it. The 120GB Force was $119 after MIB, which is also a nice buy at $1.00/GB. Not sure if they're still there, but Cyber Monday deals (including a section in there for SSDs still looks to have some nice prices.
