I mean there is some interesting stuff still being released for pc like hard reset and a few other decent console ports like Alice 2 and crysis 2 but... Man... After seeing Alan wake, heavy rain and both ucharted ones on consoles I'm not a pc only gamer anymore, looks like I will have to pony up for xbox and ps3, these games are so freakin outstanding and innovative with their polish and narrative and a big blockbuster professional look...man pc is not that sweet anymore, it has absolutely nothing going for it but monster graphics, even though gems like metro 2033 still keep it alive and well.
Ms and Sony have won the war I think, war against pure pc gaming, with such grand innovative exclusives produced by Sony puppets naughty dog and quantic dream, ms puppets starbreeze and bungie... And no such corporate puppet studios for pc of course. Oh well, time to learn some Sony dualshock skills, Sony is shit but they paid big big bucks to develop heavy rain and since I'm a fan of masterpiece genre defining games I'll be paying Sony. Only to support mad geniuses at quantic dreams, same for ms and their puppet studos. So sad :(
What about stuff like BioShock and Portal? Or are those too console-ified for your tastes?
There's still plenty of indie stuff on PC to get excited about, but if you're looking for industry-changing games, no, you won't find it exclusive to PC. WoW, Civ, and Starcraft all have their audiences, but publishers simply can't ignore the huge console player base.
Yeah, Blizzard is a last bastion indeed but they don't do genre defining blockbusters like Heavy Rain. They are good and they will keep PC exclusivity 'cause PC is an MMO genre primary platform and I'd say it's an "MMO fortress platform" sort of, consoles can't do proper MMO by definition but PC is pretty much dead as a major genre breakthrough/exclsuive blockbuster platform. I just hope it won't die completely and some outstanding PC targeted games like Metro 2033 will keep appearing from time to time, to fight major trail blazing console studios like Naughty Dog at least a little bit, not just give up and dump PC as a major gaming platform completely.

BioShock and Portal both exist for consoles, so they work against PC tooCraig Getting - Wednesday, August 10, 2011 - link
What about Blizzard stuff? They seem like the last bastion (no pun intended) of PC-only mainstream gamers.Pirks - Wednesday, August 10, 2011 - link

I'd buy it if I could actually buy it without activation.
