There is a bug against EMC Celerras which cause outages when Mac Tiger clients connect. While I don't favor rolling your own version of a "standard" such as SMB 2.x, it shouldn't be able to crash an enterprise NAS either. Bad Apple! Bad EMC!
Be careful everyone and look up this issue on Powerlink if you have Celerras. Your account team should have already contacted you.
