I knid of agree but not that it should stop fully. It should stop being posted within the same column as if it were a real review. The dumbed-down Anandtech interface is just going to an opposite extreme versus the 'complex' old one. Maybe Anand spends all his time on the road reading it on a mobile device so it's convenient for him :p
A separate section somehow for 'this just in' would be much better than mixing it in with real articles.

I disagree, though, I can understand where you're coming from. Perhaps you would rather a checkbox with to "Hide 'This Just In'" from the list. Or, maybe make it the other way around, automatically filter the "Just In's" and have the more advanced readers deselect it if they want them there.
Taking it away completely would screw up my RSS feeds and since there are many users that want them (and many users that don't) the only logical option would be to implement some sort of user preferences - - most likely cookie controlled.
Or, in this day and age of widescreen and even more widescreen (16:9) there could be two columns - one for real articles and one for 'this just in.' The new AT look uses barely an horizontal space.
This is 8* the power you need for a non-gaming PC and 4* the power for a gaming PC. (It's not marketed for servers.) Stop this nonsensically huge market for overpowered PSUs.
Sorry, but that's completely wrong. An average gaming PC idles at around 120W, but at full load you can easily hit 250W. (That's with something like an HD5770.) If you want a more potent gaming PC with an HD5870, load power draw can reach 400W. 5870 CrossFire or -- Green-mongers help us -- the GTX 480 SLI will tip the scales at over 600W (or 850W in Furmark for GTX 480 SLI).
Since ideally you get maximum efficiency at around 50% load, that would mean you should grab a 620W PSU for a typical gaming PC, or one of the crazy 1000W+ units for GTX 480 SLI. Is it a small portion of the overall market? Sure, but these days you wouldn't find me buying anything less than a ~600W unit.
But, I have to comment. I LIKE the "Just In" articles. -- It's part of what is new (reviews don't happen instantly) -- It let's me know what reviews are coming -- It is a snapshot in time of the reviewers interest and thinking; sometimes most revealing
It's odd that so many IM and Tweet and Facebook etc but they don't like more instant information here. It's not like Anandtech stopped doing reviews, it is just more timely updates along the way. Kinda like technological "road signs".
And I guess if you don't like them, don't read them. They are, after all marked "This Just In" as the first three words....
