One question, I understand that Windows and CPU must support ARM, but what about graphics? Will one be able to just plug in a regular Geforce and go? Assuming there will be ARM drivers.

If the vendor provides drivers and the SoC you're using has PCIe, sure. People do, even - mainly with Linux because dGPU drivers for WIn/ARM don't really exist right now.

Right now the Win/ARM push is almost entirely around laptops with iGPUs, though.

Yeah, so far every Snapdragon X Elite and Plus design is a laptop exclusively using the iGPU. We have yet to see how well Qualcomm's SoC/CPU platform will play with a discrete AMD or NVIDIA GPU. But that is something I am interested to see as well.

    If it's pre-installed with anything from M$ then it's a no-go from the outset.

I would hope it's cheaper than Qualcomm's offering, but Mediatek Dimensity isn't exactly a cheap chip.

Why would it? It's Taiwanese, not Chinese.

Supposedly, AMD is also developing an ARM CPU design for windows. Source:
