Pretty sweet you no longer need an exotic platform to support this much memory. Further erodes the price gouging workstation market.

Except that if these capacities are available for consumers, the workstation market must be supporting significantly more at price gouging levels. ;)

I wouldn't use the present tense, 64GB UDIMMs don't exist yet.

Yeah, but this doesn't come with the bandwidth benefit of a quad (octo) channel.
