I think they exactly the same as intel Nuc. Asus owns Intel Nuc now. the I/O and placement seems to 100% match Intel Nuc 13. (not on the +, that's Asus's thing!)
The only Intel mobile chips that support ECC are the HX series when paired with WM690. AMD mobile is up to the vendor.
commercially available USB-C PD chargers max out at 100~140W. The spec allows up to 240W, but it seems there is excessive power loss and extra heat going above 20V.
LOL What? The only one of the four to feature support for an SATA drive is the one that also comes preinstalled with Windows? How do I get the barebones kit and have SATA support?

I like that they have I/O ports similar to intel NUCs.Now as for thermals and noise, I am hoping Asus did better here.

The ROG NUC could be a good machine for self-hosted LLM server applications, depending on how much VRAM it has (not specified on Asus' website).Charlie22911 - Wednesday, January 10, 2024 - link
Considering the form factor, I’d imagine the GPU will be similar in spec to mobile GPU offerings.hubick - Thursday, January 11, 2024 - link
Hey Asus, will I ever get something with ECC support for my NAS (w ZFS) to replace my NUC9VXQNX?Also, I feel like, at some point soon these NUCs should switch to USB-C Power Delivery?

They need to start putting dual NICs in these to be useful for other things. Like for a DIY router/firewall.LiKenun - Sunday, February 11, 2024 - link
