All the forthcoming C-Color memory specs (and many form other vendors) can be found from Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D QVL list. www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/TRX50-AERO-D/support#support-memsup There will be 16 & 24GB dimms with max. 7800MHz and 32GB DIMMs with max 6400MHz. There are listed also many 48, 64 and 96GB DIMMs but only with max 5200MHz speeds.
Absolutely the thing I'd want to do is run memory out of spec on a workstation that I'm using for something more important than fetching e-mail or playing games.

I half expect these high voltage ram kits to burn out the memory controller, just like what happened on AM5.ballsystemlord - Friday, November 24, 2023 - link
IIRC, it was the MBs overvolting one of the CPU rails, not the memory kits themselves doing the CPU damage.ballsystemlord - Friday, November 24, 2023 - link
I double checked, it was the MBs.https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/psa-upd...

I haven't spec'd a workstation with 128GB ram in a decade. 256 GB is the bare minimum these days.
