    I was super excited to read the headline. Then I saw the TDPs which are 65w/105w. I wouldn't mind a lower power option for something like a home firewall appliance.

    Yeah, those are pretty up there in TDP. I suspect power draw of that lowest end chip will be pretty low in actual TDP. Might wait to see some testing.

    Should be pretty easy to adjust power limits, for what it's worth. Idle power is the bigger issue, since you can't do much about that.

    This is the problem with using chiplets. The separate I/O die and the interconnects will use up more power, and especially relevant for consumer use, raise the idle power floor.

    To get usable performance with lower power AMD would have to utilize the monolithic APU dies instead; Phoenix 2 with 2x Zen4 + 4x Zen4c (+ 4 CU) would be a perfect fit for a low power system. Once they release the rumored 8000G desktop APUs, maybe corresponding embedded ones will follow?
