Does anyone like connecting their monitor to the front of their computer?
Once again, the ports could have been way better...

counterpoint: When ventilation is pointed upwards, the USB-C port faces downward. This placement is ideal for hooking up to a monitor that also has all their inputs facing downwards.

For a NUC that is a great way to do it. Also, many people mount the NUC on back of the monitor.
ASROCK makes good stuff. I would price this at about $600 with ram/nvme and OS.

You have 2 HDMI ports too with the slower USB ports & power, the fast USB ones plus phone jack are together on one side for user access. Plus you can always simply turn a box by 90 degrees and have it accessible from the side.

The mac mini comes closest to getting it right, although it lacks any front ports for end user use.

Nice having 2.5+1GbE RJ45 ports, too often tiny AMD systems have just had single wired plus wi-fi,
which restricts the utility as an efficient SOHO server

Nice we're finally getting these, agree the type C really should be on the back with the other ports. Nothing like getting a mini box and having to have cables coming out of both sides of said box for connectivity. Progress?

Also why USB 2? Are we in the 2000s?

"Also why USB 2?" Why dry up bandwith and port with keyboard and mouse?

I have the 4800U and the 7735U. I'll eventually purchase a 7840U for the ability to have a cluster.

If there is one thing I don't care for is the power button. It's not a deal breaker...it is anoying.
