This is an AMD Expo issue which affects all Zen 4 processors (non-X3D included). Time to revised all Zen 4 CPU reviews ahaahahahaha. A-Dies can probably still do 6000 at lower voltages, but everything else good luck with the nerfed voltages. Lawsuit in 3, 2, 1...

Voltage doesn't necessarily translate to increased temperatures. But the high voltages are seemingly outside of the package\socket design. Reports do not indicate there was throttling or high temperatures at the time of failure.

These are likely growing pains of a new platform, packaging and socket design that OC'ers, ODM's and even AMD have not anticipated as the AM4 package didn't have these issues with even higher voltage and current.

When they mention EXPO, does that also indirectly mean DOCP (XMP support on AMD)?

    "Roman 'Der8auer' Hartung"

Still using his kidde screen name. I guess its a profitable identity as much as any other minor or niche celeb, but I can only imagine that as he's gotten older, he probably has many moments where he regrets branding himself with such an idiotic screen name that he can't escape because of the marketing value it now holds to drooling home PC buyers.

What's wrong with his screen name being "The Farmer" a lot of talking coming from someone with Peaches n cream as their screen name.

The name of his YouTube channel is called "Der8auer" so why wouldn't people put that in his name in articles?

I guess sometimes people think the best defense of their celebrity is to go on the assault. That, amusingly, says a lot about why the poor guy is stuck with his childhood nerd identity and the market value justifications for his corporate sponsors to encourage him to continue using it for their benefit.
