I can't help but notice that you seem to have written quite a bit about ECC for a product that does not support ECC.

    (To clarify a bit further)

I'd love to find out otherwise, but nothing G.Skill has provided in their press material or in their validation screenshots indicates that they are ECC enabled. TeamGroup, for example, has been keen c in their press release to mention that their kit does specifically support ECC, and I can't see G.Skill purposefully omitting such important information.

    Hi Slash3

I reached out to G.Skill and asked them directly. They confirmed these RDIMMs have ECC support.

The title of the article is DDR5-6800, but all of the content stops at DDR5-6400. Which is it? Is the title wrong, or is the content wrong?

    Hi James

The Zeta R5 RDIMM will go up to DDR5-6800. +I have been liaising with G.Skill today on a couple of things. One of them is obtaining the specifications of the DDR5-6800 kit, which I intend to add when they get back to me. I appreciate that you pointed this out.

Looks cool, I am interested in Sapphire Rapids as a worthy successor to the X99 + Xeon platform. I have a feeling that memory OC features greatly depends on the board and its UEFI setup, as to whether it is supported or not.

For instance, when I first installed the Samsung DDR4 2133 ECC RDIMMs in my X99 with the Xeon E5 1660v3, I had forgotten to reset to defaults, and my Samsung RDIMMs were running at DDR4 2666 from my old corsair kit :O
