L4/L5 concepts are just abstractions that are probably no longer useful in this space. The press talk about them because it makes it easy to explain things but I think industry players have moved beyond this -for them it is the business metric of use case revenue vs. research cost vs. installation cost/unit * quantity.

It was a thorough interview. I really like the idea of growing the mobile businesses in the town. It would really benefit most of the citizens who want to deal with mobile apps.

The concept of autonomous is absolutely innovative yet beneficial in so many ways. One of the important factors is the reduction of stress and health risks. According to https://heartratezone.com/, many heart diseases are initiated with driving stress, an increase of traffic, and harmful vehicles pollution leads to many health risks.
I suspect that Tesla will get to autonomous driving faster than Mobileye, because Tesla has the best data collection for AI training, and Tesla's AI platform seems to be better, but those are just what I am guessing with limited knowledge. Still it is encouraging that we have a race between Tesla, Mobileye, nVidia, Google, Waymo, Xiaomi, Huawei, etc., so this tech won't be a monopoly.
