It's not well known, but Space Invaders was the first hardware that crossed the TFLOP barrier. The complex calculations that went into animating those monsters was truly tremendous. What I find interesting about the pictures is that they are upside down. This helps keep the bits from falling out of the cartridge.
Finally, everyone should get 4x100G connectivity in the house. It's a well known fact this is the baseline for any hobbyist or home lab, especially now that we work from home.
