As a case manufacturer they should be focused on having lots of front ports.
2 Type-C front connectors should be the bare minimum (this MB one has 1) and for the next generation they should be thinking on ways to bring Thunderbolt 4 to the front ports.
last I looked the trace length for thunderbolt from controller to port was something like 2 inches. PCIe traces can only go so far and have geometric considerations for impedance and jitter. Getting one on the front of a tower isn't so simple.

Looks good. however no 6 SATA data ports for fully taking advantage of 2 laptop HDDs and desktop HDDs here. needs buttons for CMOS and bios resetting on io panel found on many Asus high end for the mobo and specially made self-recharging materials and censor on the chips for built-in ups battery backup for 30 minutes in case of blackouts to run in the energy-saving mode for basic needs like the internet and phone usage on a desktop and laptop. 4g LTE - 6g is a must as well if you decide to ditch cable internet for an alternative with both of them soon having yearly cable and internet/phone plans.
wireless PSU ports on the mobo from the PSU might be tested for ditching the nightmare of cable management in such pc powers here once the light beam mirroring bounce and data/power reception effect is perfected without frying the PSU and mobo that both self-heal and self cool like the DPU and CPU and GPUs to come and ssds and HDDs doing the same thing with fans also on the side like on the haf x tower for vertical GPU mounting for the RTX 3090 and CPU fan mount that also rotate to go vertical to give a bigger CPU fan more breathing space to properly cool an RTX 3090 and intel i9 11 gen desktop CPU/AMD ryzen x3950 CPU with custom DDR 5/ssds from intel at 1 TB each for the ram slots here for hybrid custom video sound music creation editing and data science and gaming at 8k going foward as the bios uefi needs to have the ability for multiboot os for macOS windows OS Linux OS and chrome/andriod OS and iOS here for seamless easy file transfers to and from said devices and for network and usb/microsd backups of the mobo and oses from the mobo bios itself. tb 4 ports for any module CPUs from AMD or ryzen to boot up a dead pc for recovery on the i/o panel with 8k 2.1 HDMI ports and display ports are needed as well for connection to an lg/sony 8k tv theater system with sound systems that can handle live music/video/audio editing and recordings like seen and found on many movie and music recording stations.
I love it! Perfect response to the "must-have feature" whiners that long for the days when all "real" computers needed to be build is "super tower" cases to make room for their one HDD, one CD-ROM, and maybe three expansion cards (video, sound, and modem) along with 4+ more empty slots that they never filled.
I do have one complaint though. I was expecting an integrated micro nuclear reactor instead of a PSU...they are so last millennia. As if. Primitives.
What does this 'armour' do? And why do you need to armour a motherboard, wouldn't you armour the case? Or is it designed to protect against spalling inside an armoured cases?
Can you please test the armour too? What caliber will it protect against?
My PCs are little black or silver ITX boxes, but if I was building an art piece I’d be tempted to use something like this if I wasn’t going for the cables everywhere junk-punk style.
The motherboard, including SSDs is covered in metal and plastic, restricting the airflow to the board's surface, PCH heatsink and SSDs/SSD heatsinks. VRM heatsinks, hollowed out to improve the airflow, but no actual fan that would send some air into what appears to be an L-shaped duct. All of this prettiness is inside the case.
A hideous cutout for the USB-C connector at the back. That one is outside the case.
Ouch that C cutout is terrible. It looks like it might be for some kind of locking USB-C connector but I can’t find anything that would fit it. Hopefully they will fix it in a revision.
I have an ancient cheap gigabyte ITX mobo with an i3-6100 in it that has a perfectly formed usb c connector & cutout in the backboard. It isn’t hard.
Shroud covering the PCB seems functionally unnecessary and likely adds cost or causes the manufacturer to believe the covering gives the motherboard a more "premium" feel and therefore somehow justifies an increased MSRP. Either way, I would prefer a motherboard that focuses strictly on functionality and value akin to those you find in OEM business desktop PCs that are still available five or more years later as refurb/resales on ebay. Give me that kind of look and reliability instead of a childish gimmick.
