    That shroud on top is nice looking. Would need some fan holes for desktop use, but they should keep that minimalism for the desktop line rather than gamer bling.

    Looks clean yeah but its obviously designed for a high air flow server chassis environment. Open air heatsink designs are way better for desktop use.

    Also, whats up with the 2nd pic of the card? Looks like something I could have made in HS shop class.

    David Blythe's presentation slides indicate that Xe LP can crank up to 1.7GHz at the high end of its voltage range, so looks like we are due some new benchmarks once they hook up the extended external power on the SG1 and DG1 boards.

    This is entirely inconsequential of the news post to which I'm replying, but as I've recently finished re-watching The Matrix trilogy, I read it and in my mind heard it in Agent Smith's voice as if he was delivering one of his long speeches, dripping with equal measures of menace and cynicism.

    It was fairly entertaining actually! :)
