I would expect the market is not cameras (where, as you say, people will use what's on the QC/HW/APPL/SS chip). It is IoT. Think things like clones of HomePod (using lots of DSP smarts so the speaker knows where the other speakers are for auto-stereo/3D sound, or audio shaping to the room, also ATMOS decoding, ...) or ever fancier cameras (eg on-board face recognition so you know when to start or not start recording).
