I can't understand how Huawei can possibly see Celia as a viable alternative to the Google ecosystem. Such a feature would be worth more than the entire Huawei HW portfolio. Its like when Tesla thinks they can do machine learning better than Nvidia, if they could do that they could stop making cars and just do ML and triple their company market cap LOL.
They have to, trade war ban is still in effect, and who knows how much worse it will get. It’s not like they want to get away from google. They have to prepare for a full in ban as a reality now
