This doesn't sound like a niche market. Sounds like they are targeting no market. 1080p on 27 is going out of style. 240hz VA panel? I guess it could be noteworthy if there was no ghosting because somehow this magical 240hz has sped up the pixel transitions...
There is absolutely nothing niche about a 1080p VA "gaming" monitor. The market is flooded with those. How about a 4k gaming monitor that costs less than $700, now that would be niche!
