Threadripper is going to love this memory. It's rather crazy one can build a 64 core machine with 256GB 3600Mhz memory and it not even be a workstation class PC using server parts.

The only thing is most Threadripper builds don't need RGB other than that great memory. And I would considering TR 64 core machine with 256GB a workstation class machine you won't be playing games on that as a primary purpose.
But then again what defines a workstation for you?
Is it just the parts in the build , is it the workflow?

personally any PC I do work on, If I had the need for more than my 12 cores then I would move up the ladderXyler94 - Wednesday, February 12, 2020 - link
Workstation class using "Server gear" he said. Not that Threadripper isn't "Workstation class"LordanSS - Wednesday, February 12, 2020 - link
To be honest, it'd be very nice if that kit had ECC and no RGB. Doubt it'd be able to reach such high speeds though.Flunk - Monday, February 17, 2020 - link
No one "needs" RGB.msroadkill612 - Thursday, February 13, 2020 - link
Even the muscular term "workstation" seems tepid for 64 core. Add 3600 memory... just wow.
