I kind of want this to be one of the roll-down shades in my camper. Instead of having the TV take up a cabinet, just roll down the shades, and one of them *IS* the TV!
As long as there's no other window that would let sunlight hit the front of the screen. An OLED may be a very bad fit for a camper, since they burn easily.
To put it simply to you IGZO is a great material to make smaller diodes/transistors (and pretty much everything else) as it's simply has much better physical property's (conductivity, light emissions & cetera) than silicon & it's mature one unlike Graphen (which is even better but still far from being ready for anything & hard to synthesise). Only reason for a given combo is that OLEDS with soft plastic base that is flexible/rollable are mature and developed for quite some time. OLED's reached their peek regarding ideal density long time ago (about ten years ago) next logical step would be development of IGZO based micro LED's to replace OLED's & not to futuristic one. Silicon really needs a replacement in everything.

Still more interested in their IGZO's and its future LED miniaturisation as that's what will really berry OLED's.darkswordsman17 - Monday, November 11, 2019 - link
Sounds like a new market for Fruit Roll-ups!ZolaIII - Monday, November 11, 2019 - link

OLED is stilll best display technology to make prototypes that will never be mass producedyetanotherhuman - Tuesday, November 12, 2019 - link
For that, I vote for FED / SED
