Ok now this looks actually pretty amazing..especially for that price? Reading through specs and stuff i was expecting a lot higher for some reason.

It also is a huge monitor to boot.

I do have to laugh at the pictures they have, seriously a keyboard right up against the monitor..lol

LG makes the panel and their variant of this monitor has been available for $200 less in the United States.

Uhh like what? Very few 5k monitors out.

The LG 34WK95U-W. It is $1000 at B&H and Amazon (though they're out of stock now).

Car on a screen. Thanks for that totally original and never-before-used marketing tactic MSI.

so this is basically the LG 34WK95U with a slightly tweaked case and a custom OSD for $300 more.

I wish all these new monitors would be 120hz.
I think it's time we start demanding that ...

Hardware Unboxed already ran this through some pretty extensive testing and this thing comes up way short for the price and the semi-pro market its aiming at. Some of the short comings can probably be addressed via firmware updates but regardless its way out of its league for the price MSI is asking.

This is not a 5K display.

    5K is 5120×2880.

Throw it into the garbage where it belongs.
