Great looking kit,and cheaper then the competition. I am using a eVGA RTX 2080 TI Black and a R7 2700 non X. This is making me want to switch over to a open loop when I upgrade to Zen 3k.
While most people on here will probably bemoan the RGB, this seems well thought out (the product stack and support) and I like that they have that tool to enter your config and case and they'd then recommend the components and I assume layout for you. Which if that can include premade tubing (like that shown in the first pic), with them doing leak testing on their end, or maybe shipping it in a way where you can do it first thing (to make sure nothing was damaged in shipping). Then from there you'd just follow their instructions like a Lego kit, it wouldn't really be much more complicated than building a PC already is.
I do wonder though. If nylon had so many advantages over while also being cheaper than acrylic, then why wasn't it being used?
I was curious if their configurator just included Corsair cases. It does have some other brands, but not a lot yet (hopefully they add more). Antec and Thermaltake for instance didn't return any, but Cooler Master did.
I'd be a little cautious about the pre-installed thermal paste too. Seems like it would be a limiting factor, although obviously they're targeting easy installation, and it being water cooling will compensate some.
I actually saw them doing a Q&A with another news site, and apparently the grade of nylon they're using is both expensive and difficult to work with. I'm assuming the advantage comes in speed. Injection molding should be far faster than machining, particularly if a glossy finish is desired. If you want to put millions of coolers on store shelves worldwide, speed matters a lot.
