I looked at keyboard in the article without zooming in. "Wow", I thought. "Another manufacturer that understands us users and puts pgup/down/home/end on separate keys off to the side."

    Then I zoomed in... https://images.anandtech.com/doci/14410/ConceptD-7...

What the actual fuck Acer? Fucking media keys? permanently on keyboard? I don't give a shit if this thing has stellar specs or costs $500 I refuse to type on such garbage keyboard lmao.

You can get a clearer view here:
    https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/conceptd-ser...

It's basically a white Triton 500. There are Home/End keys at the top and PgUp/PgDn accessible via Fn, so it's not a total loss like it's on the Razer Blade.

But I entirely sympathize with you when you say it's a deal breaker. It's sad because they managed to do Home/PgUp/PgDn/End keys with media keys as secondary functions on the ConceptD5; I don't know what they were smoking when they designed the keyboard on the ConceptD7 and Triton 500.

Well this is funny, I saw some real photos of the ConceptD 7 on display, and it looks like those are, in fact, Home/PgUp/PgDn/End keys, but not on the concept photos. In any case, somebody doesn't have their shit together.

You are right - https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/... the actual hardware looks like it has correct keys. Then it's not so bad at all.

    "Pro" without 10-key?

I wonder how much they plan on asking for this.
