1.5h until it starts. Im expecting some juicy info given that Intel saw it fit to announce a limited edition CPU, as well as Ice-Lake graphics numbers early on a Sunday...
Good luck AMD, I havent bought one of your CPUs since the glory days of A64, i know there are a lot of old enthusiasts rooting for you.
No info at all on Zen2 and Matisse? Is there a separate session which has the launch or AMD has a separate event? Lot more info on Navi which I thought would have launched at E3.
Brings back memories of the Athlon 1GHz and the Pentium 4 debacle, those overclocked Pentium Ms that are as good as Pentium 4s at significantly less power consumption, then turns out that those Athlons performs similarly to the Pentium Ms. AMD is going to be in a healthy position for at least 1-2 years.
With these new processors AMD is coming out with I want to see the benchmarks first before I decide to upgrade. I have been burned in the past before with AMD and them using benchmarks that particularly favor AMD.
