Highly approve of the resolution but not the "white" like others here have noted. I do hope that someone adopts this resolution on something a bit bigger, sort of a widescreen version of a 31.5" 4k monitor, meaning high dpi but not too high but wider than the 31.5's are now
MSI is mum about the local dimming solution. Having seen monitors carrying the DisplayHDR certification with as little as 8 zones, I'm going to need a little more before getting excited about this.
White isn't my cup of tea either, but wth, how often am I looking at the back of my monitor?

Wow that is pretty nice. 34 inches to, not the lame 27 inch stuff you see. Not a big fan of the white color though.Makaveli - Sunday, May 26, 2019 - link
Agreed nice monitor but also not a fan of the white colour.Rookierookie - Sunday, May 26, 2019 - link

Without FreeSync or GSync this is $1299 down the drain. Does it have either?AdditionalPylons - Sunday, May 26, 2019 - link
Down the drain? Read the first sentence of the article again. You are probably in the other category.vFunct - Sunday, May 26, 2019 - link
FreeSync/GSync is a waste. It won't help anything.FXi - Sunday, May 26, 2019 - link
