Gaming ddr without rgb? No way...

Sanity returns to the DRAM market! Hopefully they make some DDR5 kits too when that launches.

So RAM companies have been selling "gaming" memory outfitted with stupid LEDs and gigantic, totally pointless heat spreaders. Then, in order to appeal to a different market segment, they generously shrink the totally pointless heat spreaders and drop the LEDs and slap a SFF gaming sticker on and imply that the company is somehow doing us all a favor in making customized RAM just for people that have smaller systems? Yet underneath all of that is the exact same PCB with the exact same RAM. And somehow, no one at any of these companies expects that potential customers will see the stupidity. Its a great time to kick the PC gaming habit.

Either the marketing and LEDs works on people and gets them to pay more money, or they know that it's all stupid gimmicks and just don't care. I'm in the latter category, I don't care about the RGB crap. I'll buy whatever has the performance I want at the right price. Why would I quit PC gaming just because of some silly RGB RAM kits.

    "latencies ranging from CL17-19"

Wow, they're really pushing the limits.

LOL, they must be. CL of 17-19 though that says nothing about all the other sub timings either which are likely just as if not even more "loose"
