Anyone else think an 8-core CPU and RTX 2070 or 2080 is just not going to be cooled properly wiht a chassis that thin and small? Even if HP fits their special-marketing Omen Tempest cooling solution...

The performance and power consumption of these chips are nowhere near their confusingly-similarly-named desktop counterparts because they are very heavily underclocked. The 9900H only has 2.3Ghz base clock and 45W TDP, and the Max-Q 2070 and 2080 are both 80W.

If that really is a 240hz IPS then it's the first I've ever heard of. Average response time would need to be around 4ms which would mean best case would be around 1ms and it would be advertised as that. I've never seen a 1ms IPS. It's either some amazing new IPS or its really a TN or its blurry as all hell at 240hz.

The dual screen position is better this time around, at least. Throw in a TrackPoint rather than having to use an external mouse and it could have wider uses.
