I would wait for battery life tests before drawing that conclusion... 5G should help battery life, if anything. If you don't have 5G service in your area though, then it'd be a drain.
Right, that's the point. Most of us don't have 5g service and won't any time soon, but the other features make it worth buying instead of the 4g model.

Obviously this is something they would have thought of since the majority of the world does not now nor will it have 5G connections available.I'm guessing it will work the way wifi6 works now. Which is when there's wifi 6,it connects.
