I expect something different when I hear "all glass cube". But maybe that's just me being unreasonable. :D

I was thinking the same thing as soon as I saw the case. That is not all glass.

And it's not even a cube. Are the marketeers idiots or are the engineers unable to use a ruler? (There's a real cube case under my desk right now...)

To be fair, the air flow would be terrible if it was solid glass on all 6 sides.

What's the thing that looks like 3 undersized expansion slots next to the PSU?

They're 2.5" hot swap drive bays.

First, this is not "all glass", though that's probably a good thing since this is already going to be heavier than yo' momma.

Second, ZZZZzzzzz.... they slapped some glass panels on a so-so ITX chassis and will massively overcharge for the PCs they put in it. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty, and Origin is great at making pretty boxes, but they charge a hefty premium for the whole package. I'd probably consider paying a premium for one of their cases for my HTPC, but I'm not shelling out those markups for a build.

+1 for the yo momma joke.

How are they getting away with calling it "all glass" when more than 50% of the exterior is very un-glass-like?

I'm more annoyed with the staff here for letting it go uncommented. "All Glass" in scare quotes or some level of direct commentary in the text would've been nice.

It is a rather capable chasis and handsome at that... even if they are stretching the all-glass moniker a bit.

Over half of the case is NOT glass and that's stretching it a bit? LOL

It doesn't even look like it's mostly glass, much less all glass. The top is the only side that is all glass, and that's balanced out by the back which doesn't have any glass. Unless the bottom is all glass, they aren't even hitting 50% glass.
  • twtech - Thursday, January 24, 2019 - link

I believe it's tinted glass on 4 sides - I'm assuming the bottom isn't glass, since there wouldn't be much point.

why is it twice the height it needs to be?
