Well you need extra fans when you choose to cover two of them with a useless plastic gear blocking ~35% of the airflow

Plastic or not, that's an extremely attractive GPU.

I disagree. This is terribly done plastic junk.

You sustained a head injury before reading this article, didn't you?

    That's stupid.

2ghz is attainable by most rtx 2080ti's. this is stupid over kill. please nobody buy this.

Agreed. Power limits on GPUs mean there's not much to gain clockspeed wise from water cooling. Water cooling can pay off with a quieter card; mostly because 120/140mm fans can move equal amounts of air at much lower speeds than the ~75/90mm fans you see on standard/over height cards. I could even see watercooling just the GPU and keeping the ram/vrm on air because they don't dissipate enough power to need a fast fan, especially if it lets you get away with a 1x120 radiator for increased system compatibility. All of that said, a 3 slot air cooler and a waterblock on the same card is just a stupidly excessive waste.

The ultimate shootout review would be this card versus the Galax HOF insane clown posse 2080Ti to see what the best option for burning $2000 to get 2% more overclock is.

A custom loop using chilled water. The 2080ti is too pricey to fit in a phase change setup.

I'm equally surprised every time I'm reminded that Colorful is Japanese - guess I'm too indoctrinated into thinking of Japanese design as clean minimalism. Their cards always have a certain... fuglyness to them.

    Japanese, as in Chinese? :)

Most of the Grammys’ categories are specific to one genre (rock, country, rap, etc.). But four of them — Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist — are open to music from every genre.

I’ll Be Back! is the latest of a large slate of music released by Rilès, who skyrocketed to popularity in Europe where he composed, mixed and mastered one song per week for a full year with his project Rilèsundayz.
