No mention of dock solutions on a workstation laptop should tell you about how serious they are on this lineup...

HP has been selling a Thunderbolt 3 dock to pair with their TB3-equipped ZBooks for a few years now that is capable of delivering 150W to the laptop. No new docking products to announce so one can assume this works with the existing dock.

    It's up to 230W now.

Well there you go. Didn't know there was a 230W version now. That one has a pretty good assortment of new and old connectors as well.

I've had a few of these workstation laptops over the years. The specs on a maxed out G5 are incredible and record setting...and I'm sure as a result the battery life will also be record short! I bet as little as 40-45 minutes. Sleep time will also be short with 128GB RAM. I used to make sure I dragged the 5 pound power brick that was really larger than a brick and find a power outlet ASAP. I've jumped ship to a MB pro - much lighter - runs much longer - and I can still build SW 4x quicker than a standard PC with rotating disks, but I do marvel at these laptop beasts....

Good that they are here. I'm a long time user of HP mobile workstation (8560w 8 years, now ZBook 15 G3 in top configuration), for me one of the best options.
However, "128 GB in a laptop (a world’s first, by the way)" isn't that much true, I was thinking about Dell Precision in Spring, having this option available in their configurator (not sure about the real availability).
And one more thing, I'm still waiting for the WORLD's FIRST 2K (2560x1440p) laptop display (yes 4K is too much overkill for me, scaling not always work, as I am using really lot of development tools not much compatible with scaling). External 2K display comparing to FullHD is so much more comfortable for work. Why not on 17" laptop LCD?
