That unit is likely going to be discontinued in favor of the new platinum rated Corsair SFX units. Pricing looks in line with most other 92mm fan SFX units. Looking forward to an indepth review. 550W would be enough for me, so it'll be between this and the SF600.
With the 7 year warranty, the extra $20isnt a deal breaker. I'd get it although My 8700k, 1080ti system is powered by a SF600 for now and is working well. Happy to see evga come into the SFF scene. SFF is the future.
Too niche of a market for Seasonic to concern themselves with. Seasonic's a publicly traded company. They have to show fast ROI and keep inventory moving.

For a SFX power supply that's 80Plus Gold, yeah that's about right.PranavS - Saturday, October 6, 2018 - link
Corsair's SF450 (also modular, 80 Plus Gold) is $89.99 ($85 on Newegg right now). So yeah, EVGA's pricing doesn't make much sense.Death666Angel - Saturday, October 6, 2018 - link

My Silverstone PSU cost about that, and it isn't even modular. SFX is expensive, arguably the most expensive element of building ITX.Mr Perfect - Saturday, October 6, 2018 - link
Now where in the world is Seasonic's SFX PSUs? The only SFX they make are basic, low wattage models.jonnyGURU - Saturday, October 6, 2018 - link
