    "a Snapdragon 630 SoC, which runs a quad Cortex-A73 (2.6 GHz) plus quad Cortex-A53 (1.8 GHz) configuration"

    Something is wrong here.

Had to re-read that line multiple times.

Unfortunately it is 630 and not 636, so it's just the same ol 8xA53 config.

Ian should really leave smartphones to those better suited to cover it.

Just noticed but the phone has a notch, just hidden in the images.

Yeah it is kind of obscured, seems quite thin, nicely inline with the clock and status row. Looks better than Pixel 3XL hahah.

So who is actually going to make these? Since 2015 Sharp's TVs have been made by the Chinese budget manufacturer Hisense, and that includes TVs bearing the Aquos name. There were some Hisense branded tablets being sold a few years ago and they were passable but certainly not GOOD. If they're making phones now... no thank you.

HiSense TV's are how Vizio was when they came out. Cheap price/Cheap build. Then they got better and its a Great Price/Decent Build. Hopefully they don't become another Vizio with High Price/Decent Build

The Sharp phone I own now seems very well built and appears much more expensive than other cheap China phones such as Xiaomi branded.

Wow, 400 euro... good luck selling lots of that

My current phone is a Sharp Aquos S2 and it is my favourite device that I have owned other than the OG Samsung Galaxy Note.

I am amazed at the quality of this device and yet it cost TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. No one thinks it costs $200.

For anyone hesitating over buying Sharp.
