You mean OPPO Find X not Vivo Nex as the Nex has a little pop up cam. Anyway, if they show only the upper part, they likely have a significant lower bezel.
Back in the feature phone days, sliders were trash. They were cool, but they broke a lot. Stuff would get in the mechanism and make it hard to slide, or the screen would go because the cable connecting it to the main board would come loose. It wasn't even just from one manufacturer. The LG Shine was bad, the Sony W580 was bad, and even the Nokia 5300 was bad. That's not to say it's impossible to make a good slider, but the past doesn't bode well for them.
I really liked my Sony W580 (other than the Sony proprietary expandable storage). It had a great display (for the time), great battery life, and all around was very good. The slider had a nice positive action to it that never broke for me.
To be fair, what broke on the phone was the screen when it hurled out of my pocket one fateful day. about 2/3 of the screen didn't work after that. Curiously, the rest of the screen was fine.
