  With all due respect to Acer, that whole line looks hideous. The mouse reminds me of the new Civic SiR with nonsensical angles and flares everywhere and the laptop itself is a derivative design, only now in white. Meh. And you still won't be taken seriously if you bring such a garish machine into a boardroom vs. a LAN party where I'm sure it'll be drooled on.

  I don't know about that, I think the Civic Type-R looks kinda cool and even I think this is hideous.

  i for one think the gold design actually looks nice. I would probably buy the mouse and bag as accessory add-ons as there's so many traditional black computers out there these days. I probably won't really use the mouse, but I think it'd look really nice.

  Haha, I was thinking the same thing when I saw the lid. I know it's their gaming brand, but I wouldn't want to have "Predator" written on something I use in public.

  Agreed. When I look at it the words "cheap knockoff" come to mind right away and are swiftly followed by "gaudy" and "visual atrocity that should never have left the napkins the it was drawn on at the bar."

  The laptop itself is probably a good unit but OMG the color is ugly if they have this with maybe a black option and a red trim it might look a lot better and make me not want to gag.

  So Yea black with subtle red trim on the laptop same goes for everything else with it use those colors and people might want to buy it.

  Variation is a good thing when executed well, but since it wasn't in this case the deviation wasn't worth the effort.

  I can't afford this, so I hope they sell Predator stickers. I want to put them all over my laptop.
  
  I really love the huge angled bezel around the screen. It's so aesthetically pleasing.
  
  I really like my touch pad to be way off center of the screen. So helpful.

  Pretty much every laptop with a keypad has their touchpad centered to the main keyboard in the same way, so I'm not sure what you've been smoking.

  Honestly the main drawback is lack of NVMe storage. They'll charge over $1,000 for a laptop with slow SATA storage. Yuuuge drawback
